Retrofit Bottom Drain

 If you use a preconstruct molded pond, or currently have an existing pond without a bottom drain, this is a great way to add a bottom drain feature to your system.

It is designed to be placed above the liner in the pond versus below the liner which requires cutting and fitment. Eliminate potential leaking or complicated installations.

When installing simply fill the base of the drain unit with heavy substrate to assist in anchoring the drain in one place. Sand and gravel are commonly used to fill the base of the drain. We recommend placement of the retrofit bottom drain to be at the lowest center position in the pond. The positioning in this area promotes the best circulation and drainage for removing all unwanted waste and debris.
